Being that the NE Sand Hills open road event is just over 300 miles from me. I figure I may want to take the wagon sometime.

What would be the best way to set up my car for such an event? Basic pro-touring/ road course? Anything special I should do, besides following the event rules.

Thanks

Tim

Make sure the battery is tied down, ensure all fluids are topped off, radiator overflow is functional, brake pads/shoes are close to new or replacements are taken along, tires are in good shape, bearings are greased up,all hoses are in good condition, seat belts are functional, helmet meets required snell rating. Mostly just basic stuff. This isn't a race where dialing everything in is paramount. Cover the basics, make it safe. You're there to have fun.
