I'm plumbing my fuel system for a Ls2 swap & just got the new tank & pump installed. I'm running a Bosch 044. My question is, being the pump is mounted a fair bit higher than the pickup point, would it be a good idea to add a inline check valve before the pump to aid in quick start up, & help prolong pump life by making sure it is always kept full? In the pick, you can see where the short fuel line ends, that's where the pump is mounted.

Pros' Con's to a check valve?

TIA
