Very nice. I assume it's made of fiberglass? I am still looking into how best to mount the sub in the package tray....and be in a box.

Thank you ! Yes they are hand laid fiberglass with a black gelcoat finish. For the sub we just build a box and mount it under the package try facing up through the deck !

Brian,
are you mounting the box flush up to the tray (i.e. bolted to the tray) or just bolted to the floor directly under the tray facing up? I would think that if it's not mounted up flush and sealed to the tray, the sub will interfere with the 6x9s. No? I'm still trying to learn about this stuff and at the same time figure out how to put my system in.
Thanks!

We just bolt the box to the floor and get it as close as posible to the bottom of the package tray. then you can use adhesive foam to seal to the package tray and fill the void !

I still want to do an install on our package, try just have'nt had the time yet !

Hope this helps, Brian

Perfect, that's exactly what I was thinking of doing. I will cut out a package tray from 1/4 ply or mdf to accommodate the 6x9, the 10" sub, and the MCC belt reels. When it's done and fitted properly, I'm happy to send you an exact tracing of it if you want. I don't know how helpful that would be, there might so too much variation in these cars, but it would at least be a real build example. Let me know.

In all honesty I would not purchase this product. I did inquire about it through a brief phone conversation where the receptionist was very rude. For the price the quality of the item should be top notch and well key part is missing and it is required to get the top notch product

You are entitled to your opinion !
Without seeing our product how did you come to the conclusion that it is not a top notch product !
We take great pride in our products and have been building Fiberglass products for 30 plus years !

BTW. I doubt very seriously you were treated rudely on the phone !

Dude, I bought a set of 1st gen kick panels of Brian last year, the service was top notch and the product even better. Are you just stirring the pot??

If is wasn't so much to ship to Australia, I'd have his rear package tray siting in my 69 right now..

Hah! Frannie... A receptionist??... now that's funny!

For the record... all the products and services provided by Screamin are top shelf!! Hell, just look at the craftsmanship of my car!

BL: Brian and his team at ScreaminPerformance are the best! What starts out as a "business" arrangement turns into becoming good friends! I find it hard to believe that anyone on the other end of the phone is nothing but professional...
