Started a new job at the beginning of October. The main part of it is engine machining. It's been a lot of fun learning how to do that! The other part though, is building this car. The idea is for it to be a completely modern version of a '67 Camaro. The drivetrain is a GM Performance Products LS3 with 480 hp, with a Tremec T56. Rear end is a Moser 12-bolt w/ posi and bolt-in axles. Front suspension will be Fatman G-tech spindles, and it will have Kore3 brakes all around. A few other parts we've got so far...Ididit column, Detroit speed booster and master cylinder, Detroit Speed select-a-speed wiper motor, Detroit speed subframe connectors, Competition Engineering solid subframe bushings, and Vintage Air Gen IV Magnum A/C. Most of the fab work is done, it will be off to bodywork and paint soon.

Sorry for the poor pictures, there are all from my phone...haven't remembered to bring a real camera yet.

Car was not factory air, had to cut the holes for the astro vents. Also heavily modified the center of the dash to fit a '69 center A/C vent, a double DIN stereo, and the Vintage Air controls at the bottom.

My boss's brother (and a friend of mine)'s project. The drivetrain is stock, but he's been working on a big brake kit for these cars. Has 13" rotors and dual piston calipers...something I think he is close to putting into production. He also has an AMX with the same brake kit.
