Hi ya'll,

The LS2 in my Goat just took a dump and am weighing my options. Hopefully the damage is not too bad, but I may just want to pull that engine and stick it on the shelf for another project.

Anyone have a forged LS2/LS3 long block sitting around, or a stock LS3/LS7 long block?

Thanks,
Max

(P.S., probably going to stick with forced induction, but all motors considered).

We can do a short block long block, Forged Piston or Forged rotating and pistons, LS3 or 418. Pretty good prices. give me a better idea of exactly what you need? Complete short block with cam and lifters? Long block with LS3 heads?

Hey Frank,

If I were to ditch the LS2 I would probably want to go to something LS3 based, boost friendly (not 9.0 compression).

I'm faced with a full forged rebuild on the LS2 or starting from new which doesn't seem like it would be much more (the block/heads?).

So probably a full long block with LS3 heads. Something nasty for the street. Any advice on reusing anything from the LS2 (may just keep it if I want to restore the road). It doesn't need to be the baddest thing on the street.... but certainly enough to keep up with most of the jokers out there.

You can make that LKS2 a 408 pretty easy, We have a couple deals on rotating assemblies.

I am at PRI Show this week, call me next week and we can figure out your best option
