How do you extend the QA1 Shocks?

OK, I just get a QA1 Coilover conversion kit for my 69 Camaro. I know this is a dumb question, but how do you extend the shocks. They ship compressed, but there isn't a strap. I don't want to force it and take the chance of breaking something. Thanks...Eric

If they are not gas charged, they won't come out on their own. Just pull out on the rod, it shouldn't be locked in at all.

Did your shocks come out if not some shocks have an internal lock and you have to put a wrench on the shock and give it a quarter turn it should move easy.
