Needing one to heat & modify some headers. Maybe could rent one, haven't looked into it. But thought I'd look into buying one, but I don't know what to look for. I have had a few cases where it would be handy to have one to heat up some metal to bend.

I bought a cheap one from lowes several years ago and had no issues. Use it mainly for exhaust, but my buddy has used it to cut 1/4 steel plate. The guys at Arcet should be able to give you some pointers. They are at the corner of 460 and kingsfork rd (there are a few other locations around hampton roads, but that is the closest to suffolk). Or you can borrow mine.

While reading that I thought "Arcet?" I have heard that. A guy at work had mentioned that. But if you are serious that I can borrow yours, I will take you up on it. I'm in Carrollton (near Smithfield), where are you?
