I may have picked the wrong picture to show the overlap of the edge on the roof panel. The added picture shows the a-pillar and the over-hang much better. I am guessing the extra material is left over from the stamping process and needs to be trimmed or is this the worse fitting roof panel ever made :)
I am just starting to fit the new roof panel on to my 1969 Camaro. This is the first roof panel that I have ever installed and I had a question. The edge of the panel has a 90-degree lip that as far I can tell needs to be trimmed to allow the drip-rail to fit correctly. The attached picture show the lip that I am talking about. The lip doesn't overlap as much on the passenger side as it does the driver side but the passenger side would need to be trimmed also. Any advice would be appreciated.
