This was going to go into my 66 Impala but, well, things don't always work out like you want them to so it's time to let it go to someone that can use it!
I bought this about 2 years ago knowing that it had a bit of a loud tick / slight knock sound with only 8x,xxx miles on it. I had heard it could be something simple on these 5.3's like a lifter or broken piston ring. (it's not the piston slap you get when cold)
We took off the pan and but did not see evidence of any bad crank bearings.
It does NOT have an ECU or wiring harness but has just about everything else.
Iron block, aluminum heads, truck intake, injectors and rails, NEW water pump, power steering pump/bracket, balancer, exhaust manifolds, valve covers and coils. If it's for the 5.3 and in the picture, it's part of the package! (no A/C or Alternator)
I also have an LS2 intake manifold off of my friends C6 Vette, he upgraded to the LSXR.
I'm asking $250 for the motor, $200 for the intake manifold or $400 for the pair.
Edit: I had to grab the downsized pics from my Craigslist ad because I can't find the originals. I'll get better ones...
