I have a pair of lower strong arm control arms that someone used for their 69 camaro with air ride. Does ridetech make a coil over that would work with these control arms? Are they the same ones that are used today?

The coil overs from ride tech will fit, just give them a call

With some of the older arms you may have to check clearance between the bottom of the CoilOver shock body and the control arm. The newer Impact Forged Monotubes don't have quite as much clearance around the lower bearing.

That would do it. . .however I would STRONGLY recommend the tall spindle. You might as well get the best handling you can while you are at it. And if you decide handling is #1 you want to investigate the TruTurn system as well. You can fit a 10" wide wheel and the bumpsteer is about as good as you can get.
