bump???

I don’t want to sound or look stupid but on some of these threads all someone will post is the word [ bump ] what does the word bump mean in these posts :confused::confused:

its when you "bump" the thread to the top.. its commonly done in the for sale section to bring attention to an item if it hasn't been viewed... Its another way for people to take notice of a thread.

A new post will BUMP the message thread to the top of the list. So the poster will generally just type bump to let everyone know the they are just moving the thread to the top.

So if a thread is going down the page or to the second page and they want to bring it back to the top they’ll type the word bump because they cant think of anything better.
