i have a viper input shaft and front plate for a t56. do not qoute me on this, but i heard this set up can be used on the front of the t56 to hook up to a bbc. the spline depth is correct. the viper input is larger than the normal t56, but will bolt right onto a ford, or ls1 t56. buy a cheap t56, put this on, and your good to go. swap can be done with normal hand tools, as long as end play is good. please do own research to confirm i am correct.
