4th Gen Camaro Seats - Good Upgrade?

I need to upgrade the seats in my '69 Camaro. I am considering the 4th Gen seats with the houndstooth covers from Year One because I have the stock houndstooth seats now. Do those seats have enough support for some Autocross action?

Go 4thgen t/a. They aren't near as tall and have better lateral support. And they have headrest. Camaro seats stick up too far. Imho
