Can someone help me out with making an intake tube for an LS2 intake setup in a 1st gen F-body? I have zero fab skills and need something decently cheap. It needs to have a provision for a 05-06 GTO MAF and a 3.5" K&N filter on the end, just a 90 deg bend to the driver's side with the filter located in the open area in front of the wheel well...can anyone help with this for not a lot of $$$?

Thanks in advance!

For something lo-buck & effective, I have used black abs drainage pipe from lowes stores. It has a 4' od measurement. Sanded & poished off letters on the elbows & most people have no ides what it is.

I was thinking about doing the same but wasn't sure how much airflow I'd lose from the thick pipe. It may end up being my best alternative since I'm doing this build on very little money.

Geoff, youstill have a smooth3.5" i.d. with this pipe.I first used a section of it in the mid 90's , so it,s durable enough.I recently got a new 4" spectre connector from pep boys for $10.Don,t have any good pics, you can see a little of it on this vid. I started making a dual inlet before changing my mind. {I will make an alum intake with supercharger style throttle valve entrance to view through my scoop.http://www.youtube.com/user/EdontheBeach?blend=1&ob=5#p/u/6/n3mL8ze7Vw4 PS ,you can easily glue abs plastic with black abs glue. or plastic weld.
