hey everybody

I have -06 ss teflon lines and an fittings for my fuel system.
i bought this an test kit http://www.speedwaymotors.com/AN-Hose-Test-Fittings,990.html?baseNo=6176660#tabcontent

i have ls1 injectors and rail stock that was machined with 14mm holes for the injectors.
so i put 70psi of air into the rail and i submerge the rail in water to check for leaks. i have one o ring that is leaking and i have air coming out of one of the electrical connectors as well.

so i have a few questions

1. are gasoline molecules larger and air molecules?
2.these are brand new injectors why is air coming out of the electrical connection??
3.are there any slightly larger fuel injector o rings for ls1 type injectors???
thanks brad

I’m no expert but question 1 is yes
question 2 if there is air only coming out of only one injector connector then I would think there must be a failure with that injector
Question 3 I don’t know but id start by just replacing that ‘o’ ring with a standard ‘o’ ring with a little oil to lubricate and make sure it wasn’t nicked when installed.
Can you fill the fuel rail with fuel and then put the cap back on and then pressurize the system to normal operating pressure and see if the fuel leaks out.
