I have been sneaking around different forums and see a lot of people taking the LS plunge and I'm tempted to, but don't know a lot about these motors. Give me an ol fashion SBC/BBC and I'm good to go. Soon as you put computers and all the wires on there I get lost easy. Anyone here know of a book or maybe another member who has done this swap in to a mid 80s g-body? I'm sure if I ever messed with it I could figure it out. I'm thinking of a 6.0l but no clue on tranny. Where do you mount the ecu pcm or what ever there calling it now? I've not turned a wrench in 10 years till past month n little lost on the new stuff. Thanks for all your help

Follow that link to a book that our tech here at Texas-Speed wrote about this kind of stuff. I know it looks like I am trying to give him a plug, but I was very impressed when I read the book and I feel it covers this subject pretty well. Hopefully this helps!
