What is the best way to stop the urethane bushings from squeaking in a G-bar rear suspension?

remove them and lube em up good.

Make sure to use the proper lube.

Urethane bushings need periodic lubrication, and wear out quickly. To add to what Vince said, remove 'em, inspect 'em, (replace 'em if necessary), lube 'em, put 'em back in service.
You should probably plan on doing that annually at a minimum, more often if the vehicle is used daily.
