I'm guessing you got that hood off a 2002 SS? How much modification did you have to do to make it fit? Or is it a tottaly one off peice?

BTW got any stats/numbers on car, hp/trq, wheel size?

Ralph LoGrasso

Nice car.

Can some one provide me with some details about the rear spoiler.

That should be a 69 T/A Wing that is sold by many pointac restoration companies such as Ames and Year One.

I guess I should have rephrased that question. I wanted to know what modifications if any were done to the subframe. I see the DSE uppers, just curious if there was anything else special done to it.

Nice 69, what make/size wheels do you have on there?

Pearl, you've allready been warned once by another moderator. You need to stop making new threads about your car. Stick to one thread, preferably in the multimedia or new cars sections. If you keep this up, your threads will just be deleted.

What year are the Firebird front seats in Cyclone?

69ratfed
12-09-2005, 07:57 AM
I found out the seats are 2002 Trans Am/Firebird seats. I would like to know how much trouble they were to put in?
Thank you.

4th gen f-body seats are simple to install. The front two mounting holes line up perfectly with the 69 bolt holes. You only have to cut/modify/weld the rear mounting holes. Here are some pics I made of my conversion:

I still crack up at the ULTIMATE usage in this thread :)

Vince, what the hell are you doing? We finally got him to stop posting about this thing, LOL! He is freakin amazing, he joined at GP Store. Hi, my name is so and so, I own the Pearl Cyclone, you may have seen it on page bla bla bla of PHR, pick up a copy.

Nice car....

BUT nobody can title their car "The Ultimate" even if it was! I as well as just about everyone here knows that the ultimate pro touring 69 would not have a 700r4! And what makes the hood a "one peice" umm that you had to fit a peice of fiberglass... who does that? haha

If not for the title id love the car! However its far from out of the ordinary here, and cockyness is just something i dont take kindly to.

Okay the rain on this guys parade is over!

Has anyone ever met this guy? Is he as insane in person as he appears on the 'net?

On the one hand I hate to bash a guy whos never done anything to me personally but...

Also, has He seen "Phaseshifts" car? I may have the spelling wrong but the fab work on that car was insane.

Chill out, y'all. He hasn't posted in better than five months (but he does still read the board). Yes, he went a bit over the top on tooting his car's horn - but that's well in the past.

Did anyone see the guy who did the " a street racer is..." , he was on the subaru site and he did a little photoshop of him looking tuff next to his wrx. He posted the pic with a little haiku or poem and he was roasted beyond comprehension. I think he changed his name when it was over.

It is a nice car. Looks like a lot of time and money went into the project and he is proud of his car. No need to bash his car, or talk about the dude. I agree he has posted quite a few topics on the same car.

This is part of the reason why I don't post over here that often. Learn to keep your thoughts to yourself and have a bit more admiration towards others. At least care enough to represent pro-touring in a mature manner.
