Can anyone tell me if the LS1 fuel rail will fit on an LS2 intake? I'm guessing the answer is no, not with out spacers or modifications but I would like to know sure.
I am building an LS1 and planning to swap the LS1 intake to an LS2 intake since I bought an E40 ECM and wiring.

You would definitely need some spacers to make the LS1 fuel rail work on an LS2 intake manifold. Ls2 fuel rails aren't terribly expensive, I think we have them for $170 brand new.

Thanks for the info - I'm on a major budget so I'm having to watch every penny.

Search the classifieds on LS1tech or post a wanted ad and you should be able to pick a stock fuel rail up pretty cheap.

The placement for the hold downs are different between the ls1 and ls2 fuel rails. The ls2 and ls3 share the same fuel rail. They usually go for about 100 bucks used.

Not sure if it'll fit, but i've got a factory LS7 rail I'll deal on...

It won't fit. I have an ls7 rail laying in the garage also. Ls1 rails only fit ls1/ls6 intakes. There are two different ls1 rails on with feed line only and one with feed and return lines. Ls2 fuel rails fit ls2/ls3/l76 intakes. Ls7 rails only fit LS7 intakes. Truck fuel rails only fit truck intakes.

I bought one off an 06 GTO with the injectors for just shy of $160 today. I've got an LS2 intake and an 06 GTO throttle body coming plus a Gen IV timing cover so I can relocate the cam position sensor to the front of the engine.
