I know of a few places, but what are some other good online sites for shopping for classic cars? I'm looking around for my next pro-touring starter car.

1967-1969 Firebird convertible
1967-1969 Camaro RS convertible
1969 RS coupe

I know about these sites:

www.cars-on-line.com
www.ebay.com
www.traderonline.com
www.camaros.net

What else is out there? Post some links :D

Tony,

Those sites you listed are the main ones I check out, but here are couple more off the top of my head that I have looked at as well.

http://www.racingjunk.com/

http://www.chooseyouritem.com/

I hope these help.

Word of mouth through friends, relatives and just asking lots of people is the BEST way to find your next project car. The good deals are NEVER advertised. There are LOTS of cars sitting in peoples garages, yards, tow in lots, body shops, back of car lots, barns etc. Spend some money making phone calls to all your car buddies and the above mentioned locations. You WILL find a good project car at a reasonable price. Follow me around, you would not believe some the nuggets I have purchased this year. None were advertised!

Good cars and good deals are not advertised. YOU must put forth some effort in looking in different places than everyone else. EVERYONE looks on Ebay, Autotrader, Racing Junk, Deals on Wheels, Newspapers, local traders etc. Quite wasting your time look in these venues for your car and get on the phone and call all your friends, realtives and acquaintances. They will know someone with a good car for sale at a reasonable price. In most cases the seller does not know he wants to sell so you have to convince or remind him that they need to get rid of that old car.

SHOW THEM THE MONEY!!!!!

Thats how I found my hugger orange 99 SS, it wasn't advertised. I posted that I was looking for one, and the owner's buddy told me that he might know someone that would sell his. Got a nice deal on it too!

From My experiences , LOCAL CRUISE-IN's .

My Favorite is K-MART
and just because it doesnt have a sign in it doesnt mean its not for sale....
If you see one you like , ASK !

I also use most of the above sites listed.

What are you looking for ? , I have a few and know of a number others as well.

How about a 63 Splitwindow vette(aftermarket Body) Tube Chassis project ?

I'll travel/haul it for the right car and price.

No rust, period. Thats my main goal. If the car happens to be black, even better.
