Welcome ! It looks nice. What are your plans for power and drive line?

We're gonna keep, the 400+ hp 350 4 bolt (.30 over, flat top pistons, solid flat tappet "mystery cam", eagle crank+rods, RPM airgap, 1 spacer), but I have been given the green light to swap to a 5 or 6 speed from the TH-400 (for sale). Rear is 3.42 10 bolt.

Looks like a great starting point.
Good Luck and keep the pictures coming.

Love the 2nd gens! Looks like a nice car to start with......but you have to do something about those rear wheels...too 70's street racer for me....lol.

Yeah, don't I know it...14's up front and 15x10's out back. That, for the record, was NOT done by me... I'm going with 17's

I hadn't planned on it. I like the Chevy Orange with the aluminum accents. Going to use some fabbed valve covers and black AN fittings with stainless braided lines.

For the exterior I was going to have it shot in the factory color (dark green metallic)...which is the current color. I'd like to add an L88 hood and a center "Baldwin Motion style" stripe in charcoal or gunmetal metallic.

Sounds like a good plane... I like the chevy orange too, but it will really stand out with everything being green and blackish. Just my 2 cents. But whatever you do, your car will still be awesome!!!

At least most of the original holes are there in the rusty body mounts.....makes locating new plates for the repair easier.
