What parts are needed to complete a MarkVIII install. i keep reading that it has a low and high RPM speed. Is that built in to the fan motor or is that an additional part that is needed? Or do you just splice it, wire it and run it?

I think the best way is to use the dccontrol.com kit. It cost about $100, but no relays needed. Check out their site and you will see how the controller slowly ramps fan speed up and down, not just on and off.

Or you can use a 70 amp relay alone.

Also if you get the '98 MarkVIII, it has only one speed. You will also have to make up some brackets to make it fit, no big deal though.

I checked out dccontrol.com. Are the fans they are selling MarkVIII fans, just with the controllers added? They do not specify on their site. It almost seems more practical to buy their kit fans that have the controller already built in. You may spend an extra $30, but its ready to install rather than piecing stuff together.
