Anyone want to get together for a little cruise this weekend? Looking at maybe a couple hour drive from NW Conn into eastern NY, lots of twisty roads... catch a diner or something like that for lunch and then head back. Got to get some more miles on before winter! -Dan

Sunday looks nice. I'll need to check with the boss. Let me know what day you pick.

Let's postpone this a week... Possibly 10" of snow for Saturday! Unbelievable.....

Maybe on a sled......Dan we ended up with a foot of snow, 3 down trees, and not power. Did you fair better?

Trees everywhere, no power, poles snapped, lines down, it's a mess. I hope I get power before the weekend? I'll post pics later, I ran to my parents to recharge the laptop, etc. And get a well needed shower.

Wow! Way too early for that. We did not see a snow flake on Eastern LI.

I'm in the same boat here in CT. No power since Saturday afternoon. Disaster. It's like EVERY tree lost at least one branch. It's a challenge to even get out of my neighborhood without running over a downed power line. I heard the transformer for my street blow, then about five others off in the distance, and that was before the storm was half over.

Gas stations look like 1974.

So far we've had the worst winter in 30 years back in January then a tornado, hurricane, earthquake and now this. Mother Nature must be really ticked at us for something.

I'm waiting for frogs, locust, or some other biblical plague next! Still no power for me either, glad my generator came in mid week!

Anyone up for a retry on this Sunday (11/13)? Looks like it should be close to 60 degrees... -Dan
