I epoxy coated my frame 5 years back and it still looks pretty good. The epoxy job was kind of a rush deal and we ended up wet sanding and reapplying it to get it to lay down half way decent. Fast forward 5 years and we are doing a complete restoration on the car now and the frame is sitting here staring at me while I scratch my head trying to figure out what to do with it. I was not completely happy with the epoxy because of the finish, but it is holding up. Do I mess around with re-blasting and powder coating or leave well enough alone?

Depends on what you have planned for it. ISCA show car? Driver? If the epoxy still looks good and you have no plans to put the car on mirrors I would say leave well enough alone. I am going the epoxy route on BadAst. I could do powder coat but it is much easier for me to do this in the shop then it is to haul it around.

Powder coating is 10X tougher than paint.
