Looking at the Kwik relocation bracket & it says to use one of these Sanden compressors:
4514, SD5 series
4522, SD5 series
4665, SD7 series
9537, 508 series
What's the difference, why use one over the other?

SD5 = 5 piston compressor
SD7 = 7 piston compressor
Take a look here and search the model # it will give you the specifics on each. The difference largely relates to the displacement of the compressor.

If you are considering a vintage air system in the future be sure to go with a fixed displacement compressor and NOT a variable displacement compressor as these will void the warranty on you VA system as VA does not recommend them as compatible.
