I have gutted my 79 firebird and prepped it for track duty. Everything is out but the center console and dash. The insulation came out quick and easy but there are globs of it all over the place. How do I get it off the floor? I want a clean race car painted interior.
Thanks
Zack

When removing the stuff in our bird, it was a crap load of varsol, and a scraper with good ol elbow grease. That did it for the most part ....Then we found out the previous owner had roofing tar layed down where the front passenger's feet are...that is nearly impossible to remove.
Best of luck,
-Chris

Is Varsol still available? I've also read about a dry ice technique. Anyone familiar with this?

Dry Ice will work well, what I did was take a wire wheel and a corded drill and went to down, fast easy but messy if you dont tarp the car. Good luck!
