Maryland Pro-Touring Get Together??

I have been thinking of doing a Maryland/East Coast Pro-Touring get together this fall. It would be a BBQ style dinner and general hang out at my shop/parents house. I was planning on having John (NotaTA) come up and help me out with some car stuff then have the get together that saturday night. We have a pool table and pretty cool shop so there will be plenty to do.

I am just throwing this out there to see if anyone would be interested in coming over for dinner and a simple hang out night. I am located in Woodbine, Maryland. :yeah:

I'm local and would love a get together centered around an event, like an autocross or Track day.

hahaha.. just kidding man.. I wanted to get something going like that... hell i even designed a logo for it last year...haha.. I started to look into the cost of renting out places like ATCO drag strip.. from what I hear its not that expensive when you get a group of 12 cars or more.. hey its a great excuse to met up, even though it would be drag racing... I started to look into Englishtowns autocross track too.. no reply from their web contact :(... Even if its just a cruise with some local guys that would be cool too...

Anyway... I would be intersted, just have to talk to the wife... I know we have a few weddings this fall...

If we were doing drag racing, I *might* be able to get Budd Creeks (Potomac Speedway) for a day. But that's a heavy might, my Dad is friends with the owners, but he hasn't talked to them in years.

Maryland needs a good race track (the kind with turns).

Ya know....the good 'ol Maryland weather is about to close in on us once again....why not try for the beginning of next summer? Plenty of time to get everyone's schedule synced, no? Anyone have a problem with roads this Saturday? Impassable due to flurries! LOLz
