just acquired this 64 galaxie about 6 weeks ago and haven't done a whole lot to it. not sure what direction i'm going with it yet, but i kind of like what i have so far.
for those of you that don't know me i build alot of drag cars and specialize in FORD performance, so a lead sled like this is way out of my realm ,but i love cruisin in it.

about a week after i got, i lowered it and started putting all the trim back on it. the guy i bought it from took all the trim and interior apart to have it painted and restore it. the think is in such great shape i like it the way it is. it's from texas so it's very solid. and the best thing about is that it's a 390, 4 speed car.

Very nice...a friend has a 63 model - those are realy nice cars with the 390 in them.

wheels are 18x9.5 on the rear with 285-35's and the front are 18x8.5 with 245-45's.

Nice piece John. I can remember when my uncle bought a new one just like that. I was 6 yo at the time, but remember those body lines and red paint.

Sweet love those things. Had a teal one for about 15 years , but sold it about 5 years ago and have regretted it since.
Built 289 c4 and rideing on air tucking 18in Boyds.

I honestly woulda kept it in it's faded paint but It looks AWESOME regardless!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
