I have a 1987 IROC that the engine is being built again as I speak. I put a vortech supercharger at 10lbs of boost on the engine. I have a forged crank, forged Rods. Decent head work has been done. I have a crower cam with Plenty of overlap. Haven't started this engine yet. The last engine I had went into a lean condition and destroyed the block. I was advised about putting Ford 42 lb injectors from Bosch in. I have purchased them last month. The question I have is?
Originally the car came with a 305 T.P.I. automatic with original injectors
The engine I have installed is a 350 T.P.I with the original vette injectors.
I have MAF on this engine and don't want to switch to Speed Density. I have heard tons of pro's and con's.
Would the 87 original computer have to be reprogrammed for pulse width and the legth of spray because of the larger injectors. And if so, Can you advise any websites for the type of computer that would match my configuration and Eprom and or reprogramming for this.
