I was just at the Coronado Speed Fest 2011. https://www.pro-touring.com/showthread.php?83280-Coronado-Speed-Festival-2011
There were new Ferrari's, old Ferrari's, Cobra kits, real Cobras, new Ford GT's, vintage racing GT's, NASCARs from the 80's to present, Vintage SCCA Trans-Am muscle cars with pedigree, and so many other REAL race cars from the past that privateers now operate.
One of the coolest paint jobs I witnessed was this early 70's Camaro. It would make a great, retro paint job on a widebody or stock quartered Camaro. The arrows really accentuate that pointy front header. So, come on Camaro owners, honor the past Camaro road race legacy and recreate this. It's sinister!

I just stumbled on an old website featuring that very car! I plan to paint mine in some way since I'm wanting to go for a somewhat vintage scca trans am look.
Did you get any photos of the interior?

No pics of the interior on that one. The guy lives near me. The silver Camaro, and some other Vintage Class SCCA Camaro's are all run by the same team or associated with them and their really close to me in Ocean Beach. I'm about 12 miles south of them. The group is called Huntington Cars or something to that effect.
All the interiors are pretty much the same. Kirkey seat, cage, metal dash, no door glass, Haze Gray paint. Remember, these are the real deal cars from the actual T/A series so interior is spartan. Most cars have the exhaust exiting out the side in front of the rear wheel so the floor is cut and a structure is fabbed that has the pipes running in it. It intrudes into the cabin too much for a comfortable interior for a street car.
I uploaded a shiite ton of images from the event. Some of those may show some interiors. Like I said they are all pretty much the same, if you find pics of another Camaro's interior it would suffice unless you wanted to do an exact replication

And that's what is great about it. It's not the colors. It's a scheme that can work with many different complimentary colors and hue's. Silver, black and red maybe? It's the angles and dimensions of the overall scheme that makes it work.

Cool paint scheme, a few changes would make better like others have listed. Blacking out the chrome would be a good idea, even with the yellow. How about putting the right rear spoiler ends ends on, instead of the 74-81 ones, looks kinda odd to me?
