Headers have been installed to confirm proper clearance and starter issues. They will now be sent out to be re-ceramic coated. Lowest part of the car used to be headers, now engine cross member plate.

I had 2" of clearance, I now have 4".

I hope this helps others with ideas for reworking low header clearance issues.

a few months ago i took 3 inches out of the headers on my car and when i reinstalled them i diddn't pay attention to the shift linkage and my car wouldn't shift any farther than reverse. So now i have to buy a ****er to drive the car when i'm trying to save money to do a manual swap
