Hey All;

My name is Tony Edler, I'm from Boonville, Missouri and have enjoyed this website for the the better part of 6 months and really have come to appreciate the sound advice from everyone.

My car is a '73 Dodge Challenger with a stoker small block backed with a Tremac TKO 5 speed. I've finally debugged my car enough to begin driving it again after many modifications and endless problems (leaks) along the way.

Winter 2005 plans call for swapping Viper disc brake calipers and custom rotors to replace the stock front disc brakes.

2006 will start the tranformation to a retro/g-machine theme by installing an old Mr. Norms GSS Paxton Supercharger, that came dealer installed on the car originally, on the stroked 340, leaving the 5 speed, brakes and suspension upgrades, repainting the car and adding the stock strobe stripes.

Thanks, in advance, for you time.

Welcome, Tony...I'm about 3-4 hours south on US63 from ya, down around West Plains...btw, am I reading it correctly: did you car get a Huffer hung on it at Mr. Norms back in the day? If so, got any paperwork on the work??

Either way, nice ride...

Chevy 454 -

My car was originally purchased at Mr. Norms Grand Spaulding Dodge in Chicago, on the date of purchase the owner, a 18 year old kid, had a supercharger installed in the shop. The car was driven home with the supercharger installed. I luckily have all the paper work from the original dealer file, mini monroni, shop work orders, all receipts, everything to validate the car. I've spoken with Norm Krause (Mr. Norm) at various shows and he stated that they installed a few superchargers after the cars were driven off the lot in 1973. The EPA stopped the dealership from selling supercharged cars from the lot inventory in late 1972. It's different for sure.

Tony,
Thats a really really nice Challenger! We need a lot more of those on this site. Sounds like its going to be really nice after the transformations you have listed.
After I saw your car I did this in about 2 minutes just to cover up the pink to see how it would look. This was just the first thing that popped in my head when I saw those cool vents on your fender and I noticed you had silver on the back of the car.
2 minutes in microsoft paint. http://img194.echo.cx/img194/4506/chall16ct20ru.jpg
Hopefully it doesnt offend you.

Welcome Tony. I am fairly new myself. Nice to have another Moparite on board! Good looking car. Any info on the Tremec? Pros and cons. I have thought about installing one of those myself. Anyhow, welcome!

Camaroboy69 - No Offense taken

You are on the right track with the stripes, however I'm not going over the rear wheels, I'm going through it.

Sweet. That was just an idea, I never imagined someone was actually going to do something similar to it. :)
