SSC Ultimate Aero -- It's made in America

I usually keep up with these kinds of car but this one went completely under my radar. It's a SCC Ultimate Areo, made in America. It has a twin Turbo, V8, 1,200hp engine which I suspect is based on the LS9. The top speed is 253 mph which was a world record for a time until the Bugatti Veyron SS reestablishhed itself. SSC is developing the Tautara which will have a 427c.i. dohc engine. Where is that engine coming from?
