We just finished these up. We have realized that the rear shackles move a bit, but never realized that 1.5-2" each direction was possible. A little track time and a GOPRO camera proved us wrong. You can put these in the upper frame or rear eye of the leafspring, or both. We were able to reduce the shackle movement by 50% on the hardest of loads. The result was quicker response, and no snap-steering when changing directions. They also reduce bind.

We will be track testing these at Thunderhill Wednesday in a set of our Competition springs with a spherical bearing front eye bushing. On the street they are great, and should be even more noticeable with a set of R compound tires on the track!

Do these have a lube channel? ....can you make it down to Buttonwillow in a few weeks?

Yes we put a helical cut inside to hold grease. What is the date for Button Willow?

Keith,
Are these in both the front and rear eyes?....just wondering about articulation if you have eliminated all of the movement. Hopefully you have a johnny joint or something in the front eye, if you have made the rear solid.

YES, we recommend using our spherical bearing or rubber in the front eye for articulation.

Originally we tried the delrin in just the upper shackle, that helped, but not enough for hard performance driving. When used in both shackle locations, the thick center sleeve keeps the shackles parallel, and movement to a minimum. So far during testing we haven't experience ANY adverse effects to ride quality, if anything the bind free motion is going to give better traction and smoother ride.

Just sharing this part of a conversation on another board.

Looked on the website. Is $49 for both sides or X2? $100?
