This is a nice setup for someone, and a good price too. Geoff, I'll keep you in mind if I run across any parts that you might be able to use.

Just a thought why not just convert the the T56 to the LS style?? I will cost you way less to do than buy another trans and it is not hard at all to change out the front end of the trans.

The transmission is a 93 unit and because of this, it has a different cluster gear. Everything I've read says you can't just change the input shaft and front plate on a 93 unit. I wish it were that simple! If you know of a way to make it work, please let me know!

I priced everything at what I thought was fair and reasonable hoping to move it quickly so I can get the parts I need to get the new engine together and in the car.

Joe - thanks! Let me know if you find anything useful.

I will trade the transmission complete for a rebuildable LS1 T56 including the bell housing. Please PM me if you have any interest, I might be motivated to reduce the price.

Would this tranny will bolt on a 350 sbc?

GeoffP

Yes, with the parts I have listed it will bolt directly to any 86+ SBC with a 1 piece rear mail seal crank. It will also work with any pre-86 SBC or any BBC with a retrofit flywheel.

Price Drop - $1000 cash - come get it and it's yours. I will also take partial trades. I need an LS T56 input shaft, LS T56 bell housing, clutch parts, LS6 cam, LS6 valve springs, etc. Sorry I can't ship - I was burned several years ago and just don't do business for this much money over the Internet.
