Just wanted to get some feedback from those who have gone before. I was planning a TPI swap on the real cheap but the guy that was supplying the almost free TPI parts has flaked out.

Before the TPI I originally wanted to do an LS swap but figured it was out of my college project budget (see the link to my project in my signature). Now I want to take a little clooser look at the LS swap again to see if maybe I can pull it off.

Question- Let's say I already have a stock engine and factory computer and because of costs I need to stick with my TH350. I'm not looking to build a fast drag car, even a stock 5.3 is higher hp than what I have now and I can add hp goodies later on when the budget permits. For now I just want to get a decent running LS motor with the driveabilty of fuel injection rather than the traditional small block and carb that I have now. What is a pretty realistic total $ cost figure to make an LS motor in a G-body swap?

Thanks for any insight!!!

Ben, check out ls1tech.com, all kinds of parts lists with prices and advice, and also maliburacing.com, I love this site, but those two sites are full of good tech info, they are actually the sites that led me to this Site....
