Rod Runs in Pigeon Forge, TN

The Shades of The Past will be on Sept. 9-10, 2011 and The Grand Rod Run will be Sept 16-18, 2011.

I know some of you guys will be at the LS Fest in KY the same weekend as the Shades and some others will be waiting to come into town for RTTH VII on the weekend after the Grand. I just wanted to see if any of you guys will be around for either of the rod runs.

I parked my MIL's old car in front of the First Baptist Church to save a spot if you want to come by and say hey. I'll have my truck in the show Friday and Saturday and will take the truck out the strip in the evenings. If you see a grey 95 Buick in the end spot, then I'm probably not out there yet. I'll move it and pull my truck in when I get out there.

I'll be at the rod run in the malibu Friday through Sunday. Havent missed one in 10 years, why start now.

I have been going for 20yrs and every single year it's a Blast! We usually park and hang out at the Shoney's next to the Dixie Stampede.. Then we are registered for Bill Howell's RTTH event the following weekend to put our car through it's paces...

Well, I live in the same county as the rodruns, so I'm always here for all three events, and all the smaller events, as well. I've been going to shows and rodruns here since I was 8 yrs. old.

Been here all day. Cruised up and down the strip all afternoon. Father in law and I sold a 55 chevy we were partners on and now he's looking for a c6z

OK I stopped and talked to a guy Friday. I was asking if they were planning to build any components for the 67-72 trucks yet. He said they were in the plans to start some R&D on it, but nothing as of yet.
