I have received so many pms and emails that I thought I would start a thread about 2012
RTTC, RTTS, RTMC and RTTHs will all happend in 2012. RTMC may have a change of venue due to the fact Nashville Speedway may close, but the event will happen, possibly in Georgia if not Nashville.
There is one new event I can now announce, it will be RTTA (Run to the Alamo) in Texas. Details not finalized on it yet, but will be soon. Feb 17-19 are the dates so mark your calendars.
Two other events are on the drawing board, one being in Nebraska at MPH and hopefully tied to the SORC event in August. After having such a great time there at the OPTIMA Power Summit, I just have to see this become a major event for us. While the location is a struggle for some, no one that went there this year will complain about that once they were there. Just a fantastic location and so much to do.
The other event is at the point in the TO BE ANNOUNCED stage.
This will bring the total number of RTT events to 7! I am proud of the way they have grown, thankful to sponsors that stepped up and helped make them happen and excited to watch them keep growing and offering more and more protouring members the chance to experience one close to you.
If you add the Heidts event, LS fest, Motorstate and OUSCI, we are almost to the point that we have at least one event per month now. Who would have thought that possible 5 years ago? I am actively looking for sponsorship so if you are a company looking to get involved at a quickly growing segment of the hobby, please contact me.
The Team T/A contingency program is alive and well and next year will be for ALL year cars, so even if you don't have your protouring car finished, you can participate with your late model hotrod and be eligible for contingency money.

Bill, we would like to talk about possibly being sponsors. We're still a small company with big dreams, but want to support these events. Also, I want to talk to you about RTMC and RTTH, as we'd like to run Sabre there next year (assuming we can get it road worthy by then).

Bill, I don't know how you manage to run a business and organize these events but I am willing to help you anyway I can. I'll see you in a couple of weeks at RTTH and let's talk about it.
