I have a few LS powered 69 Camaros under construction. We have (1) silver coupe and (2) convertibles at the moment.

Let me know what you are looking for - maybe we can work something out for you.

I have a very limited budget... You do some great work but I would be looking for a budget build with a LS with air... If that was even possible...LOL

If you do the work yourself you may be able to do it on a budget. Most people dont realize the cost in doing an LS conversion on these cars.

You should be able to get a budget drivetrain (motor and trans) in the $5k range. You need to factor about $10k more for the conversion with all the parts involved (fuel system, wiring, pcm, cooling, mounts, fabrication, etc) and if you want to do AC you can get the Vintage Air setup for about $1350 if you can install it yourself.

Go find a small block car that is in decent shape and start from there. Unfortunately you are not going to get a trailer queen on a budget but you can find some decent cars time to time. Try to focus on a car that has come from or lived most of it's life in hot dry areas (Arizona, California, etc) so that you dont end up with a rust bucket or a car that is patched together using aftermarket parts that usually look terrible unless a large amount of time is spent massaging them. You should be able to find one in the $15k-$18k range.

If you do the math - even a budget car is going to be in the $30k plus range. In the end though, nothing like having a car that starts the first time, every time whether it is 10 degrees or 110 degrees.

I can do a lot of the work myself and save a bundle but I have to find the right platform I always wanted to convert my 69 to ls but my budget was tight. I was working out the details for a 5.3 then It sold. I have saved quit a bit and with the sale of my camaro I plan on having a C-10 truck with an LS power plant in the near future.
Thanks for your insight.
