need some photoshop help, please

couple of changes im thinking about making to my car this winter.
1. engine color. its been chrysler corporate blue since i was 15. im torn, as its always been blue. but i cant get the idea of pewter out of my head. im thinking pewter with black bolts, brackets, pullies, etc. can someone do a photoshop of this? im thinking a dark pewter, like on the silver side of cast iron.

2. im thinking of adding the 71 340 stripes, blackout hood, and go wing. undecided on the hood callout.

thanks for any help you can give me. and if you have some more ideas in this same vein, ket me know.

heck, i also thought about tinting my headlights yellow for a more racy look, adding scoops, tinting the windows, etc. just looking to freshen the car some, and these two are the ideas that are really sticking with me.

Can't help with the photochop but I say go for it!!! Valve covers black too, maybe wrinkle finish on these and flat or satin black on other parts like you mentioned. Hood and stripes- yes! I'd add the tail light panel and wheels too... Def NO on the wing! That thing is so counter productive unless you are trying to generate lift??? Not to mention it looks out of place, at least to me it does. Just my .02 hope I helped...

Lol! That makes it look like that engine bay was a part of the movie "Pleasantville". Looks black and white... I need to get photoshop and learn how to do this, good job!

i really appreciate you soing that.

the color looks lighter than the color i had pictured in my head. maybe something closer to the colors on the booster or cast iron part of the master cylender would be better.
could you possibly be bothered to do that one for me too?

I vote yes on the 340 stripe package, no on the go-wing, and I don't have any photo-editing stuff here at work... Sorry.

Darkened up the 1st picture and then did another with the color of your brake booster, but it has a bit of a gold tone to it. Feel free to provide a color sample of what you would like on the engine if these don't work for you.

Here's a shot of my motor painted with Duplicolor cast iron engine paint. Block heads intake alternator and my overflow tanks on the left are all painted with it. The brackets & pullies are Rustoleum satin black, valve covers are Duplicolor wrinkle finish.

On the photoshop, you can take the black and white portion and mess with "contrast" or "levels" to get it more dark gray. Also once you convert it to b&w convert it back to rgb and sometimes you can then apply some color tints to it.

im thibnking either the new ford grey or the cast coat iron will be close to what im thinking.

anyone feel froggy enough to do the stripes? or is my pictures too bad to use?
