Opel Manta A 3700 -71

Though i could post thread from my first retroproject, after seeing that one Volvo project here.

I bought this old Manta in 2001 and spend few years playing with it and building it then. I still have it and propably never going to get rid of it.

Could be time to little take it to this decade (/or millenium) at some point and redo some stuff, but this is how it´s now...

Specs:

Engine:
307hp / 420nm
-28S Engine block
-Wösnerr pistons
-Connection rods and crankshaft from 3.6 litre C36NE Irmcher engine, C30NE cylinder head, lowered and ported flowing aprx 350hp, compression ratio 12:1
-Cat Cams camshaft, 320deg 12.5mm
-3x Dellorto DHLA 45 carburators
-Custom aluminiun oilpan
-Light flywheel
-Irmscher oilcooler
-Custom radiator
-Crane HI-6 Ignition with LX-92 coil
-Custom headers and 2x 2.5” exhaust


Transmission:
-9" BMW´s SRE Racing clutch with copper plate
-Getraq 265 5-speed gearbox from Opel Monza GSE
-It´s own rear axle, 3.67 LSD 40% differential, with Steel driveshafts

Suspension and chassis:
-MAD lowering springs -40mm
-Bilstein shock-absorbers in front
-GAZ adjustable in rear.
-22mm rear stabilizer
-Fast steering
-Rear axle has watt-link and bushings have replased with unibal´s
-Polyurethane bushings at front
-Front brakes are 296mm zimmermann discs (vented and drilled) with Brembo calibers
-Rear brakes are Calibras zimmermann drilled discs with Astra turbos brake calibers, EBC pads in both, linelock and pressure regulator.
-Full rollcage
-Schmidt 8 x 15 rims with 205/50R15 tyres


Bodywork:
-Resprayed with GT/E theme
-GT/E frontspoiler
-all factory weldnings seam-welded
-Everything at chassis sprayed with black urethane paint and axles etc. with grey

Interior:
-Cobra bucket seats
-Autogauge rev- oilpressure, water temp- and fuel mixture meters
-6-point rollcage

Other:
-Best 1/4 mile 12.88s - 178km/h.
