Anyone make pedal covers for Mopars? Specifically 70 Roadrunner.

I can make them for you. Is the car disassembled? The reason I ask is, I use the factory pedal assemblies as a guide to make the tooling and placement of the mounting screws, as well as, the shape and size, this insures that they fit. I would need the brake (and clutch pedal if equipped), the gas pedal and the e-brake. I would be happy to do them for you. PM me if you are interested.
Thanks,
Shannon

Thanks Shannon. My buddy saw your pedals on my Camaro this weekend and wanted a set for his Roadrunner. I sent him to your site but ti his dismay, you don't have them available. Very cool that your willing to make them though. I will pass the offer along, but it's up to him as the car is fully assembled.
Perhaps someone else with a RR that's apart can lend the set for a good cause.

B body peddles are pretty common, hummm
Wats a set run?

It usually takes 10 sets for me to justify the cost of the tooling. If we can get the 10 sets then they would be $139 for the auto sets and $145 for the manual sets. If we can't get the 10 sets they would be significantly more expensive, probably around $200 a set. But, depending on the radius of the factory pedals, I might be able to use existing tooling that I already have. If that is case then the price would be the original pricing. These prices are for the original design, the "MI" series.

These for 4 speed? I'd love a set of pedals for my Duster.

You might be close to the 10 sets needed to make this happen.

Ok, This is the info from the research that I have done.
A-body:
1970-1976 Duster
1963-1976 Dart
B-body:
1968-1975 Road Runner
1966-1978 Charger
E-Body
1970-1974 Barracuda
1970-1974 Challenger
I know that there are other vehicles in the catagories but these seem to be the most popular.
The question is...in each catagory, are all of the pedals the same for that catagory? I know that the E-bodies are but what about the other two?

If your talking the foot pad area the e body is smaller and angled. The b body pads are rectangular I'll have to check an a body peddle and get back to you. The peddle setup them selves will swap between all 3 cars but correctness b and e's have a slightly different shape. They also change the Shape from 72 & up on the E's and the A body's
Here are pictures of the pads. http://www.brewersperformance.com/products.asp?cat=42
And the peddles http://www.brewersperformance.com/products.asp?cat=39

Yes, I have seen the different shapes on the brake and clutch pedals between the cars. I think the A and B body pedal pads are the same. The gas pedals are different, some are long, some are long and attach to the floor and some are short, but I think there are only the three. I will have to do more research.

Maybe we need to start a list so I can see what will be needed. This way I can refine my research and start looking for the assemblies that I will need.
Post your year model, body and either auto or manual.
Examples:
1969 Charger automatic
1971 Challenger manual

Just to be clear, you are using the rectangular pedals instead of the trapezoid or triangular shaped ones?

That is correct

After further research here is what I have found.
The results below are for the most common vehicles that I see on this site.
There are only two differnent gas pedals. One short and one long that attaches to the floor.
There are two different auto brake pedals. One rectangle and one that is trapezoid shaped.
There are two different manual brake/clutch pedals. One set is rectangle and one set that is trapezoid shaped.
Only one E-brake pedal.
Now for the hard part...finding all of these assemblies. I have an E-brake assembly from a 70 Cuda but that is it. Anybody have any loaners?

What do you need to make this work? On my b body pedals the brake and the clutch pad are the same do you need each one or just one pedal? I can send the arms or can you work from the pads? I have a set of e and b pads I could send you.

I would need both arms to insure that the radius is correct and for the placement of the mounting screws. I always do it this way to build a set of pedals that fit without question.

If your still interested in making this I have a set of 4 speed pedals as well as an automatic pedal set. I've got a basic gas pedal out of the Duster as well as the drive by wire pedal from a newer charger. With these pedals and such You'd have pretty much the entire line up for Mopars.
PM me if your interested.

Like Riddler stated above, I have received the pedals for the A bodies. He also sent a DBW gas pedal for the modern HEMI swap. It appears that I will only need to fab one set of dies. I will start the process this week. I still need a set of E body brake/clutch pedals, and a E body gas pedal.
Thanks again goes to Riddler for sending me these pedals.

I am working on the first sets now. If you want to get in on this first run let me know and I will add your vehicle to the list. I don't have anything for the 70-72 Cuda/Challenger yet. I am looking for pedal assemblies for these cars.
Thanks,

Do you have the brake pedal/pad for the 70 a-body with auto trans.? I have a 70 Duster that I am finishing up and I am interested in the gas and brake pedal...

I just KNEW it... as the topic indicates: Mopars are PEDAL powered!
That explains why Buicks outrun them, because Buicks are FUEL powered!
Just pokin' fun, not meant as offensive.
Cool pedal setup!

just curious, what is the difference between the 1970 ebody pedals and the 1971 ebody pedals. I spoke to you about a month ago and was planning to buy some for my 71 challenger with the Keisler (tko600) reproduction pedals. Glad to hear they are done ill be ordering mine within the next few days. Thanks, Leo

Hi Leo,
I remember talking to you, how is your car coming? I think we talked about interiors also???
To answer your question about the difference in the 70 and 71/72 E-body pedals, it is the gas pedal. For some reason they used a longer gas pedal in the 70 and then changed to a shorter one for the 71-74.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Thanks,
Shannon
