Hello, my name is Matt. I've been lurking on this site for a while, and finally decided to sign up and start posting. I have a 68 Chevy C10 stepside pickup. It's a pretty basic truck without any special mods for now. I'd like to plan an LS swap in the future. It's basically just a cruiser for now, but I'd like to start autocrossing it some.

Anyway, enough of me blabbin'. Here's my truck.

I am from East Tn as well (slightly north of Knoxville) but the only car I have drivable right now is a subaru.

I'm not sure if i will make it. I think my dad and I may be going to Super Chevy in Bristol. If we don't go, I'll come and spectate at RTTH.

Yes it is. I love old warbirds, and we have done some work for the museum, so I asked if I could pics of my truck in front of some planes. I was particularly interested in the A1H Skyraider, since it mostly saw action during the Vietnam war, since my truck was built in the same era.

What part of Knoxville do you live in? I'm in K-town quite often. Have you been to the cruise-in at Joe Neubert collision center on Clinton Hwy? They meet every Sat. night. There's also a cruise-in every Sat. night at the Kroger in Seymour.

I actually took the truck out on the Blue Ridge Parkway yesterday. That was fun! We drove the Cherokee to Waynesville, NC leg.

ive been trying to find where all the shows/cruise's and all that are im actually in knox county and i havent heard of either of those i think ill check them out this weekend

The Shades of the Past and Grand rodruns are coming to Pigeon Forge in September.

Shades is Sept 9-10
Grand is Sept. 16-18

Of course the RTTH event will be the weekend of the 23rd. Super Chevy show is in Bristol the same weekend.
