Well I though I would post up some pics of a new project we are working on here in the shop. Its a 1967 Nova 4 door wagon that we are transforming into a 2 door wagon. We are using the longer 2 dr sedan doors and we are planning on having a sliding rear window similiar to a chevelle 2dr wagon. the B pillar is still up in the air as far as what we are shooting for. Here is a rough draft rendering from Jason Rushforth. Plans for the car are LS1 4L65E and TCI mustang II front clip. Stay tuned for more updates.

Good looking wagon.
I love wagons. Hard to tell but the rendering makes the C-pillars look rather upright. The pictures show they may actually be at the same angle as the B-pillars. If not, then I would lean the C-pillars forward a tad, if that is within the scope of work.

More than likely we are going to lean the B pillar forward as well as the divider for the rear sliding window. Its going to look similiar to a chevelle 2 dr wagon but with a thinner B pillar and then the C pillar will split the back side windows. Still have to move the c pillar back but im waiting to get the B pillars in place before I move the c pillar.

Ok so here is another rough draft from Jason with the B pillar canted to match the rear. I really like this look and would much prefer to have one piece rear side windows. We will see what the client wants tomorrow.

kool ....... I traded for an abandoned project about a year or so ago ......Its a 66 4door converted to a 2 door exactly the same way , I also have some of the same plans for mine . I do have a 65 chevelle 2 door wagon with an eliminator 2 bumper to bumper chassi under it ........ so you could say I like wagons

Very cool project.....I'd take the 4 door C pillar and move it forward and modify the window frame and go with a custom side glass in the door....the new sloped forward B pillar and sliding side glass in the back would be like a later model version of a 57 Nomad. Very cool!

I dont have any pics of the 65, and I dont want to hi-jack this thread, sometime I will start my own thread. I like the idea of sliding 1/4 windows, but one piece glass would be considerably easier. I have thought about slanting the b-pillar forward on mine also. What do you think about the TCI clip .....is that whats on it in the pics ???

Great project! Love the long backs, and the 2 door conversion will look fantastic!
