1. I am looking at the following connection for the PCV system (passenger side of throttle body).

I have this little plastic line that I believe is supposed to connect it to a port right below itself on the intake: http://farm7.static.flickr.com/6147/6020415230_e1dff15995_z.jpg
However, unlike this photo that I found on ls1tech (which I believe is an LS3),

the plate under the intake on my engine doesn't appear to have that connection. Any advice how I should hook this up? My engine is an L76 with an LS3 top end (in case that makes a difference). How or where should I connect this to if I don't have the same connection below the intake?

2. Do I need this Evap Emission Purge Solenoid for the engine to function correctly? If so, where does it connect to (pic taken from another, I believe, LS3 engine)?

3. This port is capped at the back of my driver's side valve cover

Do I need to connect it somewhere?

4. How about this connection on the driver's side of the throttle body?

5. I plan to connect this red capped port (passenger side of intake) to a barbed bung in my 4" air intake, between the MAF and the throttle body. Is that correct?

6. My harness has a connection titled "VEH SPD" which I assume connects to the VSS sensor on my T-56 Magnum. Any comments on how to get this to talk nice with my Dakota Digital gauges?

1. My LS3 has the port. Not sure where yours is -- is this a crate motor, or what car did it come out of?
2. Nope.
3. Leave it capped.
4. You're talking about the open nipple right? Cap it. The metal line is the steam line.
5. No picture, but I assume you're talking about the metal line just above the oil fill? Then yes, that goes to metered air between the MAF and throttle body.

Yes, you are correct. This was the pic for #5.

1. It's an L76 with an LS3 top end. New crate with a cam. Someone on ls1tech said to connect it to the rear driver's side valve cover to vent "dirty air" back into the intake (in lieu of connecting it to the intake port below):

Thanks for the response.

Since you have an L76 valley cover, the port on the passenger side of the intake in question one will be connected to the port at the rear of the drivers valve cover in question 3. This will be your "dirty" side of the PCV/Breather system.

For the red capped port on the passenger valve cover from question 5, you are correct in attaching it to the intake tube between the MAF and TB. This will be your frsh or "clean" air side to the PCV/Breather system.

For the EVAP solenoid and lines, capping the port on the drivers side front of the intake and removing them is pretty much the norm in a hybrid and then turning off the codes in the ECM.

Hope this helps.

Mike,

Thanks. That definitely does help. I have hooked up it as you (and others) have suggested.
