you mean like the cars they drive IN the shows, or the commercials?
considering we don't pay TV stations for their content, someone has to pay the bills.

every show on tv is trying to sell you something- either thru product placement or thru the commercials they show during the breaks. it's the business model that has been in place since the first radio stations popped up 100 years ago.
