I'm am no wiring guru by any means. Did a search but not sure what all I'm reading about.

Have a 1st gen camaro with LS motor and in sump Ricks tank. I already have the engine harness and ECU. What I am questioning is the chassis wiring and wiring up of the Ricks tank. I assume I'd just get a camaro chassis harness for the body, what/how do I wire the fuel pump? Should I have a fuel pump provision in my engine harness?

Also, considering putting battery in trunk. Any specific type of battery cable I should look for? Or is std 4 ga. adequete? Where are you guys tieing the ground to?

I would consider the AAW update harness. Merged pretty well with my speartech modified harness and vintage air harness. Your computer harness should run to fuel pump relay. From there is should go the the + on the ricks tank. Make sure to run separate grounds for the pump & fuel pump.

aaw classic update kit provides a fuse for efi power and fuel pump. #2 or larger for battery in truck. I do a chassis body ground right at the battery, motor to body, all #2. then a sub to body ground, usually 2 flat braided straps per factory

If you check www.ronfrancis.com you will see that our Express Wiring Kit is set up so that the wiring panel accepts the wires from the fuel injection system to power it up. Check out our website for more info.
