I decided to go with air ride on my car. After looking at cars and researching cars that have had air ride they look good fully deflated but when at ride height some look a little high (id say to clear the tires without heavy customizing). The fesler 69 camaros and rob dyrdek's 69 camaro seem to sit low and ride at perfect ride height. I know that both cars were built at custom shops, I was wondering if anyone knew what all had to be done to make my car look like this. On one forum allspeed posted "the outer wheel house squared to the quarter for travel clearance with the air ride." im thinking of goin with a 18/19 combo 19/19 or 19/20 so many decisions :). Was thinking that this would be more appropriate in the body section since body mods will have to be made.

I will hopefully be able to give you a little more feedback in a couple weeks as mine is going into paint soon. I am running 18/19's. What I can tell you is that the fender lips are rolled, the rear quarters are also shaved for extra clearence. Its minitubbed with a shortened rearend to fit the 4" BS on the rear 10" wide wheels. I have stock spindles on it now but have a set of Heidts tall spindles waiting to go on it if I dont like the stance when at ride height.

Here it is aired out now.

if you mini tubbed it why did you go with a 10 inch wheel? can you fit a 12? Just curious. Im really digging the car...cant wait to see it after paint.

Could have but didn't want to spend the extra $$$ on a largercouple than 10
" wheel. Just wasn't in the budget so I had to cut cost somewhere. I am running 295s so I am less than 2" narrower but saved a couple grand and still have a good deep dish.

you have any pics of the car on the ground laid out and at ride height?
