Camaro firebird fenders

Does anyone know how different a 67 68 camaro front fender is compared to a 67 68 firebird front fender?

the grille attachments on the fender are a little different, also the front bumper bracket on the Camaro goes between the fender and the fender extension which leaves a gap that isnt present on the firebird fender, they both fit the same otherwise.

I had always believed you had the change the doors to use Camaro fenders on a fire chicken?

Anyone know if that is true? I believed it was due to a different body line in the fender.
