I am getting up early tomorrow and making a road trip with a friend to pickup my LS2/4L70E package from daytonayellaz! I'll post some pics once I get back! I am hoping the conversion goes pretty quick, but we will see.

Have fun and check out Travis's Blue TA.
It'll give you some "inspiration" to modify your LS2! LOL
It's one wicked LS in that thing!
Make sure to give your self some to hang around and talk.
Travis is a nice guy with a lot of info and experience dealing with these motors and doesn't seem to mind sharing.
I was in a little bit of a rush the day I picked up mind, wish I could have hung around and talked just a bit more.

I just got back from picking up my LS2/4L70E package and have it sitting in my garage!!! The engine/trans came out of a 08 TBSS. The motor has less than 900 miles on it and the trans/accessories about 19K! I will be starting a build thread soon! Let the fun begin!!

I spent a couple hours hanging out and chatting with Travis. The blue TA is bada$$ and puts down 450rwhp!

Rod,
You will NOT be disappointed with Travis' pull-outs! He is a great guy, with great products, and great interpersonal skills! A true "car guy"... as an example, I had to leave my combo with him for three months until I could take it into the shop. He had no problem storing it in his barn and shipping it once I was able to make room for it! I also had him swap out the truck intake for the LS2 one. In addition, he is a wealth of knowledge on LSx engine swap combos and will always return your call!

Yes, Travis is good guy! I see you went with the Kwik alt/ps relocation bracket. How do you like and did you have any fitment issues with it?

Nope, no issues! Bolted right on! We do have to change to a remote (F-body or Corvette) reservoir but not too big an issue. My goal was to avoid cutting into my subframe, so I went with Kwik. Wayne @ Kwik is another great guy to work with! I called him, told him exactly what I had (LS2 intake, truck h2o pump) and that i didn't want to buy another set of everything to swapout to the F-body acc. He hooked me up with his a/c bracket and the ps/alt bracket. Saved a few bucks over doing it online! I suggest you call him if you want to order.

You kidding me?
I can't tell you how helpful you've been to me since what.....last Oct/Nov?
Heck not to mention coming thru for me on Power Tour with a back up alt. & MAF. Let alone the time you spent trying to find me a new alt.
And the fact it took me 3 weeks to send the MAF & alt back to you, and you didn't freak out.
Travis, it's guys like you and others on these forums willing to help that makes this hobby fun.

Don't forget we still need to talk "winter upgrades" to my LS2! LOL

x100 - I met Trav in Feb of last year right here on PT. He 'let' me talk him out of his first L92 . We hit it off so well I had him handle much of my suspension fab and monitor my bodywork progress. Four trips to Indy (and one epic roadtrip to Colombus) later, we are great friends!
